Our team met monthly to prepare for our mission trip. Some of the items on our agendas included: logistics, roles, and fundraising. Every meeting, we had an opening and closing prayer and a devotion. We also had cultural presentations. This gave us each an opportunity to research Liberian language, food, and customs. Some interesting facts about Liberia include: Michael Jackson's song " Liberian Girl ," the Liberian snap after a hand shake, and fufu , which is doughy side dish.
